Tungsten-Rhenium [WRe] and Tantalum

Rhenium is a refractory metal with a very high melting point (3186 ° C). Alloys of rhenium with tungsten exhibit interesting material properties. Compared to pure tungsten, the WRe-alloys possess higher recrystallization temperature, better strength and ductility, and they are easier to weld.
